2024 — 38 players, six titled
The most recent event gathered 38 participants, including six FIDE-titled players. GM Zoltán Medvegy took part but was held to two draws — including one against the eventual winner, FM Levente Miszler. Of the 112 games played, only eight were drawn: a remarkably low 7.14% draw rate that says a lot about how decisive the variant is.
21 January 2023 — 54 players
An earlier open attracted 54 participants, one of the largest Consulchess fields to date.
8 May 2022 — 43 players
A field of 43 players contested this 2022 event.
